Tollmark is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or operated by any customs authority, tax authority or government body in any country. Where it reproduces official tariff data it says so and links to the source, but it speaks for nobody but itself.
Estimates, not decisions
Calculated totals here are estimates derived from published tariff data. What you are actually charged is decided by the customs authority of the destination country, on the basis of the commodity code and value declared for your consignment. Their determination is binding; ours is informational.
Figures can differ from your real bill for reasons outside our control:
- The commodity code you or your seller declares may differ from the one you selected here. Classification is the declarant's responsibility, and duty follows the code, not the description.
- Carrier clearance and handling fees vary between carriers and services. The figure shown is typical, not quoted.
- Rates change. Refresh schedules differ by source, and a scheduled check can fail or wait for review. Effective dates and calculation dates are not promises of a successful check today. See the source coverage.
- Anti-dumping duties, quotas, excise, licensing requirements and product-specific restrictions are not included in the estimate.
- The calculator assumes import charges have not been prepaid and uses the ordinary tariff. Checkout-paid tax arrangements and eligibility for preferential origin rates require separate checks.
